Who is the Government minister with whom you meet most regularly?
Thank you very much. I do support the scrapping of the two-child benefit cap. I am still concerned about the overall welfare cap; we will talk about that another day. There has not been a Minister for London since July 2024. Do you know if there is a plan to replace that position or is that position scrapped?
Do you think it is an important position?
OK. Is there a different relationship that you have with the Cabinet than when you had that Minister because presumably you would go to that Minister for an issue around London or do you always go direct to the portfolio Minister?
That is helpful to know. Thanks for the clarify. After Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP), you said that we have no time to act on climate change when you said, “Act now”, ultimately. In your manifesto, you talk about retrofitting being one of the most important things to tackle the climate crisis, but we know this Government is delaying the Warm Homes Plan. The whole retrofit sector is saying this is problematic in terms of jobs, security and having a long-term plan. How much trust do you have in the Government in this Warm Homes Plan to get homes retrofitted for London?
You are making that impatience case to the Government?
Thank you very much. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thanks, Chair.
